I design individual web sites, but without the usual agency costs. My overheads are low, and I work to an agreed budget.
Naturally, the cost of a web site depends on what you need, and how much work is involved, but for a typical small business web site consisting of about six pages, charges start at about £450.
If you wish to sell products directly from your site, you will need to consider on-line payment (e-commerce) arrangements, and possibly a database-driven system to keep products and prices up to date. These add a little more cost and I will gladly discuss the options with you.
